How to create a Figure Markets account

In order to create a Figure Markets account, you need to complete three steps:

1. Download the Figure Markets mobile app
2. Complete the identity verification process (KYC)
3. Fund your account with USD or supported crypto

What you will need: 

• Identification document (e.g driver’s license, passport, etc.) 
• Your Social Security Number (U.S. residents) 
• Mobile phone connected to the internet

Downloading the Figure Markets mobile app: 

1. On the Figure Markets exchange, select “Sign Up” in the top right corner.
2. Scan the QR code to download and install the Figure Markets mobile app, which is available on both iOS and Android.
3. Create a name for your account in the Figure Markets mobile app.
4. Back up your account by storing your seed phrases physically by writing it down and optionally using the backup feature built into the Figure Markets App. The application uses the native encrypted device keystores offered by the iOS and Android operating systems, so your seed phrase is never sent to Figure Markets. No matter which option you choose, make sure you store your seed phrases somewhere safe but easy to retrieve. If lost, you risk losing access to your digital assets forever.
5. After backing up your account, you will have access to your Figure Markets wallet. At the top of your screen, click on 'Get Started' to begin the KYC process.
6. That’s it! You can now begin the identity verification process and submit your application.
